New Map for Market Town
A new map aims to highlight Stokesley as a ‘A place to eat, shop and explore’ for visitors to the town. The map has been produced and funded by Stokesley Town Council who have been working closely with Hambleton’s Vibrant Market Towns initiative.
“Our aim was to produce a high quality, well designed map which references the names of our town centre businesses including those tucked away in places such as 3 Tuns Wynd, Bridge Road and College Square. We also wanted to highlight the River Leven as many visitors don’t realise what a lovely walk there is along Levenside. We’ve included practical information to signpost ATMs, Parking, bus services, the Globe Library and of course our recently fully revamped public toilets. On the rear of the map we’ve provided a mine of information about Stokesley attractions and things to see and do around Stokesley”
The map is freely available from the Town Hall to the public and local businesses that would like to stock and distribute copies to their customers. The intention is to update and reprint further versions of the map every year to keep the information fresh and up to date.
