Town Council Meetings

Town Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month and take place in the Town Hall.  The meetings are open to the public and the public has the opportunity to raise any items in the open forum which takes place between 7 pm and 7.15 pm. Extraordinary meetings may be called if required and would be advertised through this website.

In addition, an Annual Town Council meeting takes place each year in April which allows Electors an opportunity to receive a report on what the Town Council has done throughout the previous year and to raise any questions. The next Annual Town Council Meeting will take place on Tuesday 23 April 2019 commencing at 7 pm in the Town Hall.

We also host Committee Meetings which the public are welcome to attend.  Our Committee's are, Employment, Finance, Allotments, Health & Safety, Open Spaces & Footpaths, Communications & Events and Town Hall.  Agendas and Minutes for each are available on this site or by contacted the Town Clerk.

Town Council Surgeries

The Town Council host a monthly surgery on the first Saturday of each month (the day of the Farmers Market) in the Town Hall between 11 am and 12 noon. The surgery is attended by two of the Town Council Team and provides residents with an opportunity to share any concerns and queries with us.
